How To Effectively Bid Jobs On Contract Auction
U.S. and Canada Based Manufacturing
One goal of Contract Auction is to increase production in the US and Canada, be aware when you are bidding that you will not be bidding against foreign countries. While we realize there are some who prefer to outsource to foriegn countries there are still thousands of manufacturers in the United States and Canada who are capable of providing the highest quality parts at a competitive price.
The Bidding Process
One you find a listing you are interested in bidding on, you can submit your bid to the job poster, there are sections in the bidding page that allow you to give necessary details to the job poster and to explain your decisions. Once you have submitted your bid the job poster is then free to accept your bid, however, you still have the option to accept or decline the award after you have submitted your bid. Once you have accepted the award you are then connected to the job poster and can then begin work.
Be Courteous and Professional
Contract Auction has done its best to provide a professional marketplace for conducting business, most users are here to find a manufacturer and create a lasting relationship to begin business. Be courteous to those you are dealing with as this will generally determine who is awarded the job.
